AnonymousI’ts nice to see they looked after you Bill. The fruits of TB’s hard work getting invloved with quality sponsors/suppliers……
March 26, 2009 at 12:20 am #126832Good work done there buy you guys!
They were great to deal with, don’t know if I would have got a better price through a bike shop but did not care they did all the correct things by me, also just letting people know if they mention OBT they get looked after.

March 26, 2009 at 1:01 am #126839Good stuff,I love my Pivots.Although they have scary looking teeth on them, that will get me in the shins one day kicking the XR over in inappropriate footwear.
March 26, 2009 at 1:09 am #126844Tell me about it had to put a pair of gloves on when I was fitting them, sharp little buggers.
Do have to worry about my shin I have good boots and a button…

AnonymousI have good boots and a button too but I’ve still tried kicking my bike over in thongs! Then again I’m not the sharpest tool in the box
March 26, 2009 at 1:58 am #126862I do believe I kick more XR’s in thongs than I do with boots on, as thongs are my choice of footwear for the shed.
March 26, 2009 at 2:29 am #126863I’m not the sharpest either but I have never tried to kick start a bike in thongs before.
Use to have a Yamaha TT600 that was kick start only, I was glad when I upgraded to a push button bike, would never go back to just a kick start, to old and lazy.
Bill.
March 26, 2009 at 2:32 am #126864That is also my coice of footwear in the shed but I’m lucky all my bikes have buttons.

March 29, 2009 at 10:38 pm #118633Ok did 110k’s on the Berg with the new Pegs on Saturday, must say after about 30 mins of riding got use to the feel of them thought they were fantastic I would recommend them without any hesitation.
I tried all sorts of positions, standing, sitting, moving back a forwards etc and found they worked in all positions but worked best in the standing positon.
The part I like the best about them is the next morning I was not half as stiff and far less body soreness after a good hard days trail riding which I have not done any for about six weeks.
Any other occasion I havs done is I usually can hardly move for 2-3 days.Bill.
