saw a couple of DRs on a trailer behind a cop car today heading north towards maitland and a mate saw another couple heading towards Nelsons bay so there could be a bit of a blitz happening on the weekend!!

Yeah the last time they wheeled me over all was good, they didnt care about blinkers or stuff, they just wanted rego etc guy was nice and helpful. I pay my dues and do the right thing, get all the others I say, clean it up boys our passion will be better for it

I actually welcome the sight of the police doing patrols in the bush it helps keep the riff,raff under control. An example of what I mean is that racing quad at the stop we had on the Dr Jurds ride, ,, as mentioned, rego and license and all should be good. I even put small indicators on the narny and I am looking at a fold down mirror, to keep legalish..

As long as they don’t start whining about AS helmets and indicators I’m happy for them to do their thing. Although I was going to give Tyne her second lesson (on her new bike) near the Bay tomorrow, I may have to scrap that now

We see the Lads out and about up here a bit. they mainly only bother the loud Freaks, unrego’d or those tearing ibto the bush “Off Track”. I reckon itd be a decent Day out for the Boys..

It’s all about the attitube test, “Don’t give them reason to ask”.

Also not giving tickets at the moment because of industrial action, so if someone give you one, call them a SCAB for me. :angry:

Our Police officers up here are pretty good fellas and ladies I deal with them almost daily, they have more than enough to worry about with declining hours/staff etc than worry about a few unrego bikes at the Mo’, but it’s also the local laddies that are young and on Mxer’s and apart from those two things the young ones are pretty good, it’s their back yard and people talk to parents and all that.
Our problem is the bloody Park rangers, you wouldn’t believe the attitide of some of them up here, the grunts are good they are glorified labourers I know heaps of them, but thier immediate supervisors and cohorts in the advisory groups want everything made illegal, I had one years ago telling (we were in forestry vehicles) we were on their turf, we got the maps and gps out and informed them politely they were 10 hectares into a working forest. You should see who’s on the interview panels to get the rangers jobs, 1 parks person and three greenies from various “lockaway” groups, best practice is not followed, more like how many times you’ve protested something.

Should see ’em going off about the WRC event next weekend, they’re pathetic and grasping at straws now.

I shouldn’t think so too as they are both AS certified complete with the stickers, sewn in labels and god knows whatever else, it’s Tyne that’s the overseas helmet importing law breaker :laugh:

It’s not Police you have to worry obout with these helmuts but insurance companies. God forbid you ever have need to make claim on third party insurance for a head injury but if you do good luck when they find your helmut is not AS approved.

your right if your regod and licensed you shouldnt have any problems and half the time its thway you greet them as my rule of thumb is i treat people the way they treat me and speak to people the way i would like to be spoken to nothin worse when you on the wrong side of law and you open up with wat the f%#k do you want just puts them on the front foot straight away .
