There was a bloke from the coast at Upper horton on the weekend. Had a 2011 and a 2010 model tm stolen from his shed during the week plus all of his riding gear. Rang the cops, they didn’t even bother coming out, just gave him a number to give to the insurance company. Said that the theives are stealing bikes until they have enough for a container full then shipping them overseas and selling them. I did wonder about how this was done, surely customs would be a bit sus over a container load of bikes and then when they are in the next country would they be compliant to sell.
I have heard similar stories to this and am dubious as to the authenticity of them. I have imported 40 or so bikes to Australia and the hoops I had to jump through and the crap customs puts you through ( Here and at the country of origin )makes me think that the stories are not true or if it is happening a high degree of corruption is happening at several levels on the Australian ports.
Some one (id say it was kids) broke into my car the other night (opened the unlocked door) and stole the loose change out of my centre console. The keys where in the ignition and they didnt even take the car, thats why I think it was kids. They probably got about 3 or 4 bucks in 5, 10 and 20 cent coins and left my $200 sunnies.
I wonder if the cops would hunt them down for me :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
4skin did you know there is a law that says if you go more than 3 mtrs from your car or bike you must take the keys out of it?
Good thing you didn’t tell the cops, it would have been you who broke the law! :blush:
Thats only if you give a f#@k about your car and you wanna make a claim.
