Desmon Tu Tu said Thursday night “lets go for a ride at Polkobin S F “
I said ‘OK’ “should only be a 4 hours ride”

So posted ride and Jeffro was keen. ;) :cheer:

The road leading to start point was rutted out due to recent rains and was a bit of a mission as was the ride.

So 1st single was overgrown and rutted as was the order of the day.

Thanks for the Discovery, Termite Mound, Exploration Tour ride Dude and Des, it was a nice way to ease back in. We had a couple of tricky sections but overall a good run back.

Dude is nothing if not persistent, a couple of the “tracks” we followed petered out but Dude kept following the gaps through the trees until we ran out of gaps or came to a cliff face, they always seemed to be heading down hill which made for a good fun run back up the hills on almost Virgin ground. It was fairly warm and I sweat like a whore in church and ended up running out of wTer. The bike was boiling a couple of times too in the slow going of some overgrown tracks as well.

I still have to check the gopro but I think it failed me again, only a couple from me.

    The vines were vicious

Hide and seek with Des getting around another downed tree.

Helped cut all those tracks in ounce, many years ago for the 6day was like a highway when it was over, not to many get up there now which is a good thing i suppose, but it does lead to the tracks getting over grown. Some locals do clean them up every now and then, mostly the eastern end though.
