January 27, 2015 at 9:41 am #260922Update as of tues night
Still in hospital doing it tough. 6 broken ribs, busted clavicle, punctured lung, blood and fluid in pleural cavity and a concussion that would kill a brown dog. Plus he missed today’s epic ride and isn’t lining up for tommorows either. Likely to be in hospital for another week. Fukin sook

January 27, 2015 at 11:10 am #260925Man Polly, mickD’s expression ‘smash some singles/ trails’ is just an expression, you’re not actually supposed to smash the trail!
You really did a good job!
Hope recovery goes well! And is sooner than later.

February 1, 2015 at 10:38 am #260909Hey Polly really bad shit!!
good to know I’m not the only one
I had 6 broken and stuff sucked out
( thankfully no shoulder damage )
that was start of Nov, 3 months is right
I had never done any kind of painkillers before this
Oxycontin is the stuff
don’t want to go back there
Other people have had rib injuries (me too minor cracks, cartilage)
but crushing one side I’ve learned is really bad!!!!!
I hope that I can catch up after healing time
ribs may not straighten up but they will heal !
We will have lots to talk about
February 3, 2015 at 10:19 am #260910No good Polly :pinch: Hope you are on the mend mate, sing out if you need anything to pass the time. Books, movies etc
