November 30, 2012 at 11:15 am #233077i think i can see were this is going ,why you sweeping are you  ? sounds like there is a possiblety of pay back ere
November 30, 2012 at 11:29 am #233078All is fair in love and motorcycling! Roost away I say! Ive been roosted and I have roosted back. 👿 hahaha
November 30, 2012 at 11:30 am #233082Legitimate question, I wouldn’t roost the sweep.
Just want others thoughts on it. And yes I do my share of sweep riding. I also do my share of lead riding. I Recon if you in the pack you fair game, but is the sweep immune from a mud bath.Boony

November 30, 2012 at 11:37 am #233083Just asking the question, if I got roosted as the sweep theb i would think twice about the level of help that person would get if they needed it.

No
November 30, 2012 at 11:43 am #233085Are you hammered or something Boony. Roosting the sweep is right up there with f&%king your mates wife.
I thought you were asking because someone filled you in Saturday afternoon whilst you were helping me out. Roosting the sweep is like bombing the Red Cross. You just don’t do it.STM
November 30, 2012 at 12:08 pm #233086The sweep has immunity. The corner man on the other hand is fair game.
November 30, 2012 at 12:22 pm #233088Roosting the sweep is dumb  all the players in the middle fair game if your into that 😆 after all its dirtbike riding not tiddly winks

Going on your past performances Ollie, if said mid pack rider is also celebrating a birthday, that opens them up to even more roosting than is generally accepted as reasonable?
November 30, 2012 at 8:37 pm #233080Ok here is another question
What is the sweep for
All I reckon he is their for is to keep the group together, or unofficially inform the group on the go that everyone has caught up
Unless you are on a paid ride he doesn’t,t have. To fix your bike
Occasionally lending a hand to someone who is wastedAs for roosting if he is a mate you can do what you like, until he tells you what he really thinks ,or leaves you on the side of the track (depending on what his mrs looks like)
If he’s not a mate at least introduce yourself first  ,
If his bike is orange there are no rulesThe sweep is obviously at the back all day , if he can,t work out that it’s coming from the tyre In front of his face and avoids it , Maybe he should be riding for a latte
There is a lot of unintentional roost out there, some people some bikes throw more
Most people ride off as soon as they see them, before they get there anywayOn the corner it may be better if you didn’t roost anyone intentionally, unless its that bloke that you really despise
On the trail if your behind someone its fair game ,unless your electing them to help you on the next hill
suck it up boony you princess all you have done by posting this thread was put a target on your chest/face
November 30, 2012 at 8:43 pm #233095The reason I ask is that on the coffs ride I had deejay firmly in the sights for a black mud fill in and when I noticed the hi vis I thought, nahh that wouldn’t be right. Bob there’s always a target on my chest, i just suck it up and get in first 👿
