I just heard that Strucky and his new Husky will be out of action for the next couple of months.
Seems he went out for a ride yesterday and had a crash, bike ended up on him. He was on his own and luckily raised help and an ambulance which found and gathered him up. He has knee damage.Bad luck Strucky shouldn’t stayed with the XR mate cant trust those swedes
Good luck mate you will be right

AnonymousJust as well it wasn’t the XR landing on him the extra weight may have hurt him more!
I hope you get well soon Strucky and the knee isn’t too serious. You’ve been plagued with injury and that knee.

December 21, 2009 at 4:49 am #165913Yeah, That Sux Big Time Strucky
Get well mate & a speedy recovery to you
December 21, 2009 at 9:24 pm #165930Tough luck Strucky, rest it up and all will come good real soon,( thats it for the sympathy ),
but me telling you you are a dickhead for going out alone will haunt you for a long long long time, like every time I see you at work for at least 12 months,
mate I thought you had more sense than that, when you traded the dinosaur I said to myself you finally had shown some brains and now this….what a F@ckwit act that was,you are real lucky the injury let you move still, what if you had hurt something real bad and couldnt move, you would still be there, and the media would be saying how dumb dirtbike riders are,
and all these old bulls that have commented on it and have all conveniently not mentioned you being alone- I dont know what to say about that, Maybe they dont really care as much ,
well buddy be prepared for it next time I see you, and I will make sure the workplace knows how stupid you are so they can give you curry when I am gone.
NEVER RIDE ALONE, it real basic stuff, NEVER EVER RIDE ALONE
I think I will call you Lucky Strucky…….No thats too nice…..Stupid Idiot Lucky Strucky…..doesn’t rhyme but more aptLast bit of sympathy
Mate get well soon so I can ride with you sometime on your new stead, what a way to spend Christmas mate, if you need any knee supports, I have all the range at work, I will give you oneDecember 21, 2009 at 9:32 pm #165997
AnonymousNot that I really want to get into this but I couldn’t resist! When amassing your 1.25 million Km’s Dave you said you often out when it was still dark. Considering you were doing 200Km’s every single day is there a ride partner you have on here that has amassed the same mileage or were you riding by yourself?

Strucky, you were naughty, but given your injury I thought I’d spare you the lecture!
December 21, 2009 at 9:43 pm #165999Well,that puts me in the idiot basket too. I rode to the top of Bago on my own on Sunday arvo to have a sit and think session whilst looking at the awesome view.
I will admit that I was riding pretty slowly looking for single trails that I would normally hoon past. Found a beauty too.December 21, 2009 at 9:44 pm #165914Moto a vast majority of the traing riding was done in the 30,000 acre backyard, with closed private tracks and if I dint come around every 30 mins or so the wife would come looking and I would then be found , usually in a heap with a broken bike or body, and yes Moto I never have and never will ride alone, other than transporting a broken bike back to the car via main route known to all in the ridegroup, and even that has caused some grief to me a few times, but allways the route is known by others just in case
Sorry Moto try harder mateAlso Moto I have gone through all my logs and need to tell you that my total is not 1.25 but in fact 1.1, when I was tallying up the 25 odd books I rounded off everything and it was not accurate, one day I may like you enough to show you them all, but your huge efforts at the pony express have not earned you enough respect to be shown yet
