Since daylight savings finished and the sun has been lower in the sky I have noticed for the first time ever that the dappled lights on the trails is giving me a bit of a vision problem. It hasn’t happened before but when the sun is flickering through the tree canopy I’m finding it hard to see obstacles like ruts , rocks and roots. My eyesight is very good and I don’t wear glasses I just put it down to riding faster than ever before
( yeah right !!!!)
Spud is always quicker than me along a trail but a few weeks ago I noticed the afternoon light slowing me down but not him and asked him why ?? I think he replied ‘ I was f#^*kn on it mate and didn’t give a f%#* but these goggle lenses are the sh*# ‘ !!!
After getting a bit more info I bought a set of ProGrip goggles with the Light Blue High Definition lens.
I went out for a quick lap today at 3pm and had a lot of fun mixing up my grass track and my home singles. Then I realized I wasn’t noticing the dappled light ?? I took off my goggles for a west facing uphill and struggled to see but with goggles , no worries !!!
Spud was spot on with his choice of lens and it works great for me
Thanks mate !!
