I just fitted another cam with out the auto decomp on the mongrel thing and got it to fire. Seems as though the auto decomp was holding an exhaust valve open.
I didn’t try and run it as it is too late and dunno if I will get to it tomorrow,I will keep you posted.I will not let this beat me.

So mate what gives now whats happened is it all finished or do you have to swap cams again?
Not finished yet. I got all the decomp stuff pressed off the cam and the oil gallery welded up, so it is ready to go back in. Just waiting on Chris to drop the motor again and pop the rocker cover off and I will fit the cam.
Yeah something like that, I guarantee it won’t be this weekend, unless he does it while I am out riding on Saturday, there may be a slight chance that if the MX is called of Sunday I can do it then.
