Anonymousi reckon the dr (and all other bikes) look better naked. leave it like that kylie. just hook up a steel mower can for a fuel tank.
we had a ktm without a front guard for a bit today. it looked a little like a deus bike. sweeeet
October 12, 2009 at 7:39 pm #156099It’s good to see the project getting seriopus.
If I wasn’t my own finance minister I would like to run two bikes but as it is I can only manage the Beemer and two pushies 😆

AnonymousActually DanD did the bike cleaning with the pressure cleaner. He doesn’t let me use anything that has power  . My job was to scrub the plastics. TB recommended using gumption to get them clean which I didn’t have but I did have the Enyo marble paste. This worked fantastic. I had previously scrubbed the plastics and the marks wouldn’t budge but the marble paste got all the marks off in no time. I can definetly recommend this stuff if you want to give your plastics a good clean (and no I am not doing yours Jeffro or Boony….Daniel might though  )
Unfortunately I have to wait a little while now because I am waiting for all the parts to be ready and I have to talk to Tee and Cee Graphics about the bling sticker kit.
However I should have my wheels fairly soon which will be good.
The date for getting it all done is still 14 November.

AnonymousThe DR is now registered but there is no way it is going to get ridden because it’s in pieces at the moment. I always get nervous going to the RTA because sure enough they’ll tell you that you haven’t got something or need to do something else. Once when we went to the RTA to transfer the rego of a caravan we had just bought we were told that the caravan was coming up as stolen  . It wasn’t of course but I still got an ulcer out of it.
But what I really wanted to mention was my dealings with Tee n Cee Signs.
I wanted to get graphics like Chop’s Banana but I am not real keen on red so I wanted to something similar but reduce the amount of red. I talked to Craig over the phone about my idea and within an hour he had emailed me a draft image for me to look at. It looks real special. I’m not posting it up yet because I want everyone to see the whole package. I can’t wait for them to be made up now because they are going to look fantastic.
October 20, 2009 at 7:26 pm #156737What’s happening KD?
Surely the graphics have arrived?
How long does it take to put them on?
I am busting to see it.
Oh the anxiety of it all :silly: -
