The problem is Ollie if I went for a ride with guys you wouldn’t be able to keep up with me . thats why I do things so I can miss out on the rides & don’t show you guys up:laugh:
October 19, 2009 at 12:05 am #157072G’day Puds, hope you’re having a good one. Make sure you get your share of birthday attention
Big Thank’s to Bull and Kez for letting me and my young bloke enjoy your home and hospitality. I’d also like to thank all the people who kept us fed throughout the weekend. You did a great job and there was always enough tucker to go around. It made it really easy to come and enjoy the rides without even having to think about food.
I didn’t get much riding in myself but my young fella had a ball and is still talking about it. I’m sure most of his school friends will be getting an ear full today as well. The only injuries I suffered on the weekend was a very sore liver and aching stomach muscles from laughting at the late night banter around the fire. Bear and the Bello boys had us in stiches.
Another highlight was watching the bigger kids, Bull, Bear, Ollies and others whos names I can’t remember sorry, dicing on the grass track. TB would have been proud to see Bear and the XR 400 cross the line each lap in front of the chasing KTM etc. Pretty sure Bear was taking a few suspect lines but he was getting heaps of encouragement from the peanut gallery :woohoo: :woohoo:
All in all I had a great weekend. Shared a few ales and put more faces to names. Thursty even gave us a master class in tyre changing. New tyre on, pinched tube. Fixed, pinched tube. Fixed, pinched again…….. Hope you Bello boys eventually made it home :woohoo:

Sus line I havent heard a 3 turn and 100m short cut a line but hey still had him by the end of turn 2 as long as he didnt sholder me off the track
Dont know if TB would be proud of a cheating mongrel
it was good fun
October 19, 2009 at 12:40 am #157100Blah Blah Blah Bull, whatever he crossed the line first using some race craft and as far as the shoulder bit goes rubbing is racing
If your not first your last, GO BEAR !!!!

Where ever you get a congregation of motorcyclists and copious amounts of alcohol, you are bound to see them having a great time and no doubt there will be shenanigans!!
After returning from the bush after our dusty trail ride, the beers just seemed to fall down your neck and it wasn’t long before a few had a real glow up.
While the big kids had a drink there was plenty of things to amuse the young ones
Then some silly bugger turned up with a whopping great box of bungers!! Wasn’t he popular with the kids!! There were loud explosions followed by great cheers from the kids.
Here is young Justyn, getting to do something we did as kids, although we didn’t have adult supervision.
Here is a funny pic,we lined these three silly buggers (bmacca,Ollie and Kram140) up for a photo, we then threw a bunger at their feet whilst I took the pic. Check out the look on Ollie’s face as it went off!!!! I still think the other two didn’t even flinch, they were in such a relaxed state!!
Nothing like a fire to stand around and have a drink. Bill’s fire is a masterpiece made from rims and grouser plates from a small dozer.
Kram and Tripper enjoying the fire and god knows what else.
Gasit and Puddles just chilling by the fire.
WE were there for Puds Birthday so a cake was required. Here is Kelly and Puds pretty pink cake.
So many candles,Puddles needed some sunblock
Puds liked his cake………………tasted good too
Tripper and Moose later in the night
The Kelly gang did their best to keep us pissing ourselves laughing.
Dunno why I took this pic so I will post it anyhow
More to come
October 19, 2009 at 2:36 am #157107Thanks Bill for the hospitality. Thanks Mick for the heads up and intro.

Fingers crossed the knee also heals quickly Rosco.
I’m amazed it was the only casualty from that bit of carnage.some pics from the MX and grass track…
