What brand of tyre levers would you suggest for on the trail puncture repairs,??????
April 30, 2009 at 8:27 am #131585nothing but the metzler enduro style:)
April 30, 2009 at 8:40 am #131589i reckon a couple of square nosed shovels would do it.
so you could bury your sh!tty poozuki:laugh:
its the more cost effective option:P
April 30, 2009 at 8:43 am #131586Yeah.
Metzeller seem yo be the Ducks Nuts, however, I have a set of Ballards levers & have used them a few times now on the trail,,, not always on my own flat either I might add:P WhiteRocket benefited from them too on the Hill End ride;)
I have also made one of my own with a 27mm spanner on the other end to use in Rear wheel removal as well as a third lever (very helpful to have a 3rd lever;))
April 30, 2009 at 8:47 am #131591i snapped the tip of one of my metzelers so now ive got ballards and have had no problems
April 30, 2009 at 8:55 am #131592i thought eagles ballards tyre levers where great but have used metzler levers and pinched the tube to pointy for me but i am not very good at changing tyres .i got levers about half the size of the metzler ones a bit lighter in the camelback but they flex a bit okay for trail side repairs as long as you don t run kenda tyres (eliminater is the brand)
