Buy a genuine cover, they seem to be better quality then the cheaper ones from experience. The genuine ones seem softer the last one I used was a cheaper one and I got the guy at Emu Plains to finish it off :pinch: as I couldn’t get it tight and I don’t pay anyone to do stuff for me unless there is no other way

Yep genuine as they come, I know I paid for it, I was thinking heat gun but wasn’t sure, maybe I’ll give that a go.

Oh sorry then mate, be grateful it isn’t a non genuine cheap one then. I will have a look tomorrow evening if you wish, two heads better than one  Four hands help sometimes stretching it out before stapling. I have done heaps of them but only the none genuine one got me.

    Hey Chris ,

Upholstery is my buissness and we do many bike seats, cut patterns from scratch or fit original covers, reduce foam size etc. A heat gun is a good idea and place a few temporary stainless steel staples around the perimeter. Using the heat gun and some serious stretching pull the wrinkels out consistently around the perimeter removing the original temporary tacks.

If all else fails you can ring me on 0418 677 229 , We are Restwell Upholstery at 142 Ingham Ave Five Dock 2046 , would do you a special price.

I am new to Old Bulls and had a real blast on the birthday weekend , I was with Tony Sam and Seb. Many thanks to all the guys and organisers it was a ride to remember well . I ride a 2008 fe 450e Husaberg only had it 6 weeks , just love it.

    Cheers Vinnie, “Hot2Trot”
