Hi, names BJ….been lurking here for a little while.
I met some OB Riders on Cathie’s Nowra ride a few weeks ago, thought I’d return the favour by organising another Nowra GD2 social ride.

When: Sunday March 27th, day after the NSW Elections.

Where: Nowra to Wandandian & back, grade 2 to 2.5.
Any assistance required will be happily provided.

Geared up and ready to roll at 9am from Kaman Aviation South Nowra.

Turn right onto Braidwood Rd off Albatross Rd, then it’s the first left.

I can meet up at Maccas Sth Nowra at around 8am for those that are unsure where they’re going, post up if you’d prefer to meet here.

approx. 120-130k’s, stop for lunch & fuel at Wandy or Bewong, range needed is about 70k’s max.

Bring dollars for fuel & lunch, licensed riders, regoed bikes only.

after trying for over an hour last week of trying to kick the IT into life, I went back to basics and found the coil earth in pretty bad shape. All fixed now and it starts on 3rd kick from cold!
If you are doing anymore rides in the area, I’ll drag a mate down as well, he knows that place well.

OK, it seems as though the 27th is not a good date as it coincides with an 80k Horse Endurance Event being held around Wandandian, sounds like a pretty big event.

Pretty sure this is the same group that we ran into a few years ago, and it was painful for everyone, so best not do it again.

So if there is some interest in a Nowra to Wandy Grade 2-2.5 on Sunday the 20th March, post up and I’ll re-schedule the ride.

Sorry GOC, I’m busy the weekend after the 27th at this stage and we really don’t want to come across a large group of horses going through Jurassic or Cassia. Last time we were held up for quite a while.

I’ll be riding Nowra this coming Sunday the 13th if your interested.
