LOOKING FOR A RIDING BUDDY IN THE SUTHERLAND SHIRE!

Hi, All!

Alex is my name, I live in Menai, in the Sutherland Shire, on the southern limits of Sydney, I’m over 50 but still extremely immature & very keen too hoon, as I like to call going offroad.

I’ve got a BMW R1200 GSA (2007) and a Yamaha WR450F (2008 & road registered), both of which I take off road as often as I can. I’m looking for other riders now that my regular riding mate has called it quits after coming a cropper and breaking an arm and a couple of ribs (he made the fateful decision to quit hoonin’ as he was being winched up through the trees to the air-rescue helicopter).

Anyway, my problem is that he’s the one who had the car with the tow-bar & the trailer, and I now find it difficult to get the Yammy to the good playgrounds. So, I am hoping that someone living in the Shire and owning a trailer might be looking for a riding partner (and sharing the costs of trarnsporting the bikes, of course). I’d happily ride the dirt bike to a convenient nearby meeting point, if that would make it easier; as I say, it’s road registered.

Even if you don’t own a trailer, we can share the costs of hiring a trailor or ute.

I’m also keen to go out on the Beamer, anytime as well!

Anyway, loved to hear from any interested parties.

Should be easy to hook up on some great rides on both types you obviously enjoy,,, both trails & ADV ….

Get onboard the upcoming OBT 4th Birthday Ride at Sunny Corner, you can even ride the big beast out there to the campsite and join in on an ADV type ride on the Saturday to Capertee pub for a countery :cheer:

GDay Alex, there are a few of us in the area, Crash, Gocman, Budge, and myself all in the Menai,Barden Ridge area.

As Eags mentioned,there are always a stack of rides going,and also see if you can get up to the birthday ride,last year was a cracker. Awesome riding,plenty of cold beers and bundys and a stack of laughs.

im in barden ridge and often head out for a quik ride now and then welcome anytime. Im fastly approching 40 and ride like an 80 year old. There are lots of top blokes here. i was only member for a day and hook up with action and adam for a central coast ride. Top day. Your in the right place
