HILLEND RIDE FOOT NOTE

Don’t closely follow your bud in blinding dust at speed. Because you may enter a shocking erosion rut that will have a sudden end that will destroy your front hub!

So….hundreds of dollars later……new front wheel assembly (talon hub/ SM pro rim/ heavy duty spoke kit, clean the air filter, change the 15 tooth for a 14 tooth front sprocket, new 140 S12 rear (the Wauchope special!), new Starcross front…..the fiddys’ ready to go to Wauchope!

Sorry Crash, I`d got all excited when reading Whiterockets thread on tyres for the 4 Day,,,,
Crash reccommended his preference & I jumped to the conclusion Crash was riding,,,,

Just thinking I am taking Crashes bike to Newcastle and on to Wauchope, I might have a bling new wheel be the time I get to wauchope and Crash may have back traded :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

I am ready, oil and filter change, all cables lubed all air filters done, new 140/80 – 18 Michelin S12 packed to fit with slower gearing on Friday arvo for Saturdays ride, mousse lube for tyre change. Gear bag packed and ready to go. Helmet cam to be found and packed batteries sourced

I nice to that the 2 people who recommended me getting a Pirelli Scorpion have just gone and bought brand new S12’s for Wauchope!! Anything I should know? :laugh:

The set-up looks ace crash, in fact that hub would go nice on my bike
