After talking about this awesome event on the wet Sunny Corner ride yesterday, I thought I”d post the link up here for those that don’t frequent other forums or are out of the loop.

Went to it last year, definitely worth the trip. It was a free event as well so no cost, with some of the best riders.

Tip if you have a roadie or an ADV bike ride it as the bike parking is at the front close to the action, take a hat sunscreen as there is no shade.

Situated in a natural ampitheatre so excellent viewing of 80% of the track from most vantage points

I looked this last night after chatting about it yesterday sb. Sadly it’s on the same weekend as the Nundle ride and my better half is not to happy.

Rigs and I will be there on the Sunday. Rigs went last year and said it was great. Looking forward to it! If anyone else is going would be good to catch up and put some faces to names.

CathiM – if you and Riggs are going I’d love to come along. I’m trailbike-less for month of September so this would be a good ‘filler’ for something to do. I think I’ll ride the BMW out there… :woohoo:

Yeah I will ride down as well on the Sunday, was going to go to Nundle but couldn’t get a travel companion :laugh: and couldn’t be bothered on my own

I can put a good back (Sadly bitumen) route together for a run down if your interested Kat

Yep, we’ll definitely be there. It’s in calendar. We’ll probably ride the Beemer too. Unless we end up bringing Jonathan with us in which case we’ll be in the cage.

Sounds like there could be a bit of a crew turning up. Woohoo!!

I went on friday last year, some blokes I know build the track for this event. It was awesome watching them hit the jumps for the first time, the motocross guys were the trailblazers with the freestyle guys following them.

If you can get out there on friday or saturday I would recommend it, it gets pretty busy on sunday, there is no one there the other days.

We even saw some flips because the news was there doing some filming.

We heard an interview with Robbie Maddison on the radio this morning and it sounds like it’s going to be really good.

Just got home from being out there today. Top day!

Maddo was flipping over everything!!!, there were a couple of offs by the riders no one injured but one very second hand YZ I think.

What I found awesome was how big the Moto X guys were going Tye Simmonds was going huge with huge whips, he won the whip contest today.
also Dan McCoy was going huge and also mixing in some top tricks.
