I wonder if anyone here know what event the ISDE evolved from?

Wasn’t it originally known as the International Six Day Trial?? First held in Carlisle, England from the early 1900’s.

Yep, Michael, even back in “our” day it was the ISDT, I believe it actually elvolved from the Scottish six day trials, much like the MX of nations used to be french “motocrosse des nations”

    Now what’s Reedy riding?

    A greeves
    A Jawa
    A CZ

or somsthing boring like a honda?

    Other modern MX facts

The Goat resisted going to a 4T 450 for several seasons after all the mid-feilders and wannabes had
    As did Reedy
James Stewart disn’t until 2006, and even then had to be “strong armed”

Grand Prix events continued at the circuit until 1965, by which time, the dusty conditions had deemed the circuit too dangerous for top level motocross competition. British rider Jeff Smith won the final 500cc Grand Prix of the decade in 1965, aboard his BSA.

I think they lasted longer than 64 HAWKSTONE PARK
CCM had success in the 70’s ? early

It will be very interest Krusty. Sounds like the bike will have a honda donk though. When I was younger I use to think why don’t us Aussies(not me) have our own bike/brand. As I got older i realised it was’nt as easy as that but maybe with Reedy’s pullin power we may see some parts/bits or a whole bike even made here for his new ride. It’s gotta be good for aussie sport I reckon. So good on him for having a crack.

I heard he hasnt been able to secure a factory ride and is pissed they wont support him so he doesnt want to been seen riding anyone of their bikes even if he has to pay for them  If you have a frame made with the same mount points and steering angles, fit it with any brand forks and shock you can call it what you want but its hardly a new bike. It maybe a diferent frame but then its the same as any other bike out there in the AMA

Still I will be watching with interest
