I have a 72 Honda SL175 that I am considering using in the 2013 Scrapheap Challenge. The headlight and tail light and brake lights work but…… this bike appears to not ever had blinkers. What are the rules for registering it, do I need to fit them. As far as I know that would mean fitting wiring, switch and lights.

I think some of the SL175’s had blinkers, I just had a look at a few on Google images, some have them some don’t.

If it hasn’t got the blinker switch on the bars, I would try my luck with the Blue slip dude and tell him they never came with them.

RTA Website Jimmy or RMS as they are known now would be my first stop. I will let Pezz know about your question I reckon he will be all over the it ;)
If it was me I would ask a blue slip bloke regarding the years / laws it was required before I tried to pull the wool of his eyes and pissed him right off  Mick maybe able to get away with it, I would end up with an arsehole that would make my life a bitch :pinch:

I may have scored myself a Suzuki TS 125 actually I will know for sure today, will pick it up from Albury on the way home tomorrow if thats the case ;)

Thanks for the quick replies! Yeah the handle bar switch is blank where the indicator switch normally would be. local blue slip man is pretty good but will do some research first to save on the pain in the arse factor lol.
