Ive stopped for a counter meal and a beer there once or twice on my way to the snow years ago, not a bad little place, good stop over on the way from Goatville to Menaceville. Not too far to drive the next day.

The link failed on my part but Glenmaggie is that where it is? I know stuff all about Mexico as you can see. Just looking at some travel times etc.

the dates are friday the 26th to sunday the 28th of August.

the itinerararary will go something like…

friday, 26th;
arrive and get on the piss and laugh at boony 😆
if anyone arrives early we will go for a local blat
byo food for dinner or hit the pub for a counter attack.

sat, 27th;
massive ride. looking at getting catering for lunch and dinner sat.
Sammy will meet us with fuel and food at the halfway mark.
this will be the main ride of the weekend!
and it will be wicked.

sun, 28th;
depending on numbers etc, we may do a poker run in the local singles or just have a fang. might get lunch catered if its worth it.

the accommodation is still in the negotiational stage.
im going there this weekend to get some figures and numbers.

i will post up the new thread up monday with more info and shit.

but the date is final.. 26th – 28th of August 2011

and yes Bob, you are invited. as the first post states, everyone that came on the last one gets a spot.

Google earth says that Heyfield is 1219km from my place at Tamworth. Using the David Boon canculator that means that it will require 3.2 cartons per person to get there which means Aaron your driving!!:sick: :sick:

Any suggestions as to the best way to go inland or coast the different routes are fairly close both K and hours wise. Seeing some of us will be in a bus might make one way better.??? I know Boon has said the way to go but ignore him he probably wouldn’t award you the eternal clock of power anyway!!

the coast is probably the go Aaron.
you might wanna skip around sydney, as in Mudgee to Goulburn, then stay there or Canberra or even Cooma.

the inland way, down to Albury then south east down the Great Alpine Rd to Bairnsdale isnt an option in snow season, especially in a bus :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
