So, I have two proposals for a date for the ride…My first pick Friday 13th January could be interesting camping out on friday the 13th
Second pick Friday 24th FebruaryMy plan will be to leave Newy after work on the fri, camp at Mogo Creek then ride out after refuelling from Wisemans on the sat for a run to Bilpin. Camp there at TB`s spot X  then return home Sunday
Hopefully some of you guys can swing the time off to attend

December 13, 2011 at 11:03 pm #213153Eags, Jan the 13th could be good for me. I just have to re-arrange a few things to finish early on the Friday. Feb the 24th is an on-call weekend for me at the moment but things could change between now and then.
It appears Jeffro and I have a similar roster but our off weekends are reversed. :pinch:

Camp there at TB`s spot XSecret spot all good Beags great camp but not really a secret  , but mate honestly St Alburns to Bilpin 3 hrs max on a KTM stuck in first gear  The way you want to go is also really the only way you can go to Bilpin as well from St Alburns. Although pack a cartoon and you can spend the afternoon sucking cans
Could add a bit to another camp?TB

Early to camp is fine with me, but of course options of different camspots is always good.
Just wasn`t planning to be riding all day either dayAnd NO Mr. Boon, it is one of the AD, AD, AD whatever trips that scare you
Sorry

No worries DeanO,
We don`t have to leave too early to get there before dark. Daylight savings is good for that.

:laugh:December 31, 2011 at 3:02 pm #213107Tb has found us a cool campsite out back of Bilpin apparently (just make sure you have some Aerogard handy just in case)
Should be able to grab a couple of roadies from the pub and scoot back to camp & setle in for some laughs .Does anybody know if the camp fees apply for Mogo ? Apparently you are supposed to book with NPWS , I was just planning on carrying a couple of beers with me and crashing there on the friday night

January 2, 2012 at 6:44 pm #213108Bump,,,,
Looks like Deano`s work roster is hampering his attendance possibilities, so its only a couple riders at this stage
On the Roadies,,,
I`m just gonna grab a bottle of Coke somewhere & carry the extra stuff on me in hip flasksJanuary 3, 2012 at 5:40 pm #213158Guys, what grade of ride is this one goin’ to be? I just got the Beemer and to be honest i want to ease into the dirt stuff and see how the big girl goes  That is the bike..but also the big girl behind the bars!. I’ve still got the ‘road’ tyres on it. Did a small dirt run(St Albans to Peats Ridge 35 klms) and it was a bit dicey. Still keen on an overnighter though :cheer: . Also have the dates been confirmed because i am only free every second weekend?
January 3, 2012 at 5:45 pm #213109Easy grade ACE,,, I haven`t ridden the bit from Wisemans to Bilpin as yet, but by all accounts it is pretty cruisy
TB will be able to elaborate as he rides it frequently on his way north to other ridesJoin in mate, it is confirmed for Friday the 13th (arvo ride from Newy to Mogo area) Sat 14th Wisemans to Bilpin and poke around, setup early camp & chill out. Return Sunday
