Bob as you can see we … missed you. No dust and loamy trails. See you on the next one.
November 30, 2011 at 4:57 pm #212443Galey, thanks for a top day. The all mighty 300 certainly got a workout, and so did I. That hill of yours was a cracker,I should invest in some soft terrain tyres. :S
Bob, the conditions were perfect no wind or dust just a few snakes lying around.November 30, 2011 at 7:49 pm #212437The loam looks good in the pics, and nice report btw,so how is the storm damage from earlier this year going?
December 1, 2011 at 12:07 am #212446Lads, it was a great day all round. The right tyres can make the difference in most situations but it usually comes down to the rider!!!
Storm damage is still in place with new tracks around the downed trees Four Banger. Been a while mate.
BTW no 4 stroke has ridden Galey’s Hill yet!
OUT
December 1, 2011 at 2:18 am #212447Good report Galey. Conditions look perfect.
I was going to try and make the ride but the body and bike were a bit tired from the Coffs ride.
I’m keen to try Galey hill. :woohoo: I need a lot hill practice.
December 1, 2011 at 2:39 am #212449I would be tired after the coffs weekend as well.
Galey’s Hill will crumble under your riding skill Mal 5.1 ‘can ride’. It wont scratch up your bike if you need a rest half way up either.
PM sent bro.

Good stuff detours in place, loam in place and a two stroke “only” hill next ride is shaping up well. You can call me 3banger in case i go back Galey…..that way ive hedged my bets.
And that means someone can have bragging rights on your hill.
Got a new viper ready to go on……………
December 1, 2011 at 9:17 am #212454You may need it for this hill 3 banger !
December 1, 2011 at 11:59 am #212439Looks like great condtion out there Galey

Have analized your clips and i have come to the conclusion its steep
and you must have been knackered at the top as you couldnt crest the last bit.And how low can the Goc machine rev and stay mobile, impressive.
December 1, 2011 at 1:39 pm #212440Twobanger, the secret is in the Recluse.
Galey and I were going to look you up for a Scenic tour around Clarence, we will have to organize that !!!My Son still loves the PW 80 that we bought off you , it’s being well looked after.
December 1, 2011 at 3:13 pm #212441Gday Gocman, yeah love the way that 300 of yours can just crawl out of any situation mate.
That’s good he’s loving the PW80 enduro weapon, and your daughter?still keen on riding?
My young bloke just got his final xrays and now has been given the all clear from the quacks so he can play footy again and get back into riding.
Sure, can do a clarence run, juts got to sort the fuel range out on this one so i know what i can and can’t get to, loop wise.Maybe start on the other side for something different. You and Galey throw me some dates then, well post it up.
