RideADV Christmas 2 day navigation ride 2014 – Two awesome days of central west riding at it’s very best. This ride starts and finishes in Blackheath NSW with two routes planned for each day being a “standard” (suitable for larger bikes and those riders wanting spectacular but with a less technical feel) and a “special” (suitable for riders on smaller bore bikes or competent riders on larger bore bikes and those wanting a little more spice on the ride… you can change each night if you wish, just to make it interesting). Both routes will have sweep crew and vehicle support. Note, a minimum 250km fuel range is required on this ride.

Accommodation on the ride is Pub, Motel Style or camping. Hey! It’s your ride… your adventure

    Further Details as below

Ride ADV 2-DAY Christmas Bash NAV ride – 2014, 22nd and 23rd of November 2014. The cost is $65.00 per day per person. Well James, Here it is ,,,,,,

Rode down thru the dustiest & loosest Watagans I have even seen
Rode thru 46 degree heat at Upper Colo Friday arvo
Got a bit pissy Friday night with some of the good old crew

Had a full on hands full struggle of a ride all day Saturday trying to keep up with Plindz & Factory :pinch:
Got pissed real early sat night and went to bed sore as hell :silly:
Had bike idling issues in the first 20klms Sunday as well as an eye full of dust & crap that I could hardly keep open, so slabbed it to Yetholme to leapfrop TB & Lefty. (Thank God Lefty had some great Eye Drops that helped heaps) ;)

Cut & ran on the slab to Bilpin then hit the torturous dirt run where I ran out of water before Wheelbarrow Ridge Trail before Wisemans where it hit 50 degrees by 2pm

Rested up under a tree for 2 hrs till it cooled down to 44 degrees at 4pm then slabbed it home just in front of the Mother of all Thunderstorms that blacked out most of Newcastle after 5pm !!!

That`s It mate, No pics at all sorry

Eagle i was wondering what you were upto at the fuel up on Sunday

James you missed lots of Dust and heat and a lot of beers

Arrived just in time on the friday after slabbing it in big traffic, Last weekend was worse when there were bush fires licking up Blackheath and most of the road was closed

The crew was there, Overindulged and last to bed as usual, Pro tip the weird thing on the room key at the Garners Inn Blackheath turns the lights on..

Saturday morning i took a Shit and a shower in the dark … Just like camping!!

Saturday i was out with Wiggster and Mario

    Mario had a crash,
    20141124_125450_resized.jpg
So we sat around bullshitting about riding bikes in the heat for a while
Then it was right around beer o clock to get to neville

Crashed out in the swag in the carpark eventualy and it was Sunday
Got plenty dusted all day went for a walk into a creek to cool off and finally got home after 10hrs
    on the bike Sunday

Riding back down the mountains i picked up a new girlfriend on a Harly Davidson with big long pigtails
She was very excided to see a filthy bike and gave me a big thumbs up.. I tried to run but the dr just didnt have the legs

Getting a new go pro for chrissy i hope the old ones lens fell off the sensor so no pics

Mario`s pinkie looks a tad sore there

I had a 410k ride home as it was from there Usi along with the building heatwave, so decided to call it a day from there unfortunately  It still made for a 1000 +k ride all up for the 3 days which was a good test of my lacking bike fitness,,,

On the good side, bike idling seems to be sorted now with some throttle adjustment and a clean air filter ;)
