May 5, 2014 at 12:02 am #256367Firstly I would like to thank Rideadv.com.au for putting on such a great event in some very trying conditions. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side but this is one thing that we cannot control. We had all seasons, wind, rain, snow……..the lot. But I tell you what it was still bloody awesome. :woohoo: A big thanks to TB for being able to lead this ride with him, cheers mate. Also thanks to all of the other sweeps and support vehicles, crew and logistics personnel that make this event possible as without them we would not be able to do what we love. Also to the sponsors of ride adv which include both Yamaha and Adventure Moto, Thank you very much for your ongoing support.
It was a very enjoyable few days with great memories and great friends thank you all.Pictures to follow……..more later.
Cheers,
Lefty
May 5, 2014 at 6:58 am #256316Just arrived home after a leisurely cruise back from Jindabyne.
The best ride yet in my opinion, despite some sections having to be missed due to weather.
Three days is much better than two!
The morning of day three was the most challenging ride for me to date and well happy to get through without falling off. The bike was brilliant and I’m glad I was on the Ten and not the Tiger, which I think might have been slightly outside its design envelope.
I am grinning like a Cheshire cat with satisfaction at another ride completed.
Well done TB, another cracker and big thanks to Lefty, Troy and Moose for reasons which will become apparent when I do the ride report.

May 5, 2014 at 7:01 am #256317Well said Lefty, big thanks to TB and all support crew. What about the feed at Ensay doesn’t get any better than that. Didn’t get any footage through the last day special Go pro locked up Bugger.
Sure to see all on another ride
Thanks again Cowboy
May 5, 2014 at 7:16 am #256391This was my first adventure ride with Old Bulls and my cousin Phil (XR 400M) and I (Husaberg 570) had a blast despite the shitty weather. We loved the open tacky surfaces from Hotham to Dargo – not so much the freezing conditions from Omeo to Hotham though.
TB Lefty Chicken & the rest of the crew did a great job even though the weather was not on any bodies side but what can you do – just get on with the ride.
I had a serious go from Buchan back to Jindabyne and was the first home. It was a great ride.
Thanks to all concerned and all the other rider participants for a great long weekend.
Well be back !!Ross
May 5, 2014 at 8:11 am #256318I have to say under the conditions
“How good was it!!”
More later, can’t wait to hear from the riders
