I’m forever seeing people ask if you can ride south from Rocky River Road to meet the Gwydir Highway and also if there are any meeting points between the Gwydir Highway and Old Glenn Innes Road.
I’m going to go down there set up camp on the Mann River and do daily rides out. I’ve got some pretty good maps of the area and I’ve been researching it as much as you can on the internet.
I believe there is a crossing on the Nymboida River west of Buccarumbi that I intend to find and also the Narrow pass fire trail.
The conditions in these areas are fairly steep and rocky with patches of clay so would suit a the smaller bikes and more experienced riders.
