G’day folks im nathan from quirindi, im 21 and been riding since the ripe ol age of 7
ive been trail riding for many years, and this year was my first pony express at upper horton where i managed to get a 5th in the iron man class, besides feeling like death at the end ive deafinatly decided im going to do the entire series next year as im not into my fitness and diet
i ride a CRF450x that by week days is a motard bike to go too and from work, but friday nights mericals happen in the shed and she becomes a bush beast once again to go enjoy the trails around my local area,
*spring ride forest ( sand pine forest )
*coolah tops ( snotty hills, red rocky soil )
*nundle forest ( red/black soil with some hills )
*around the quirindi area ( pretty much rock and snotty hills )
*around the blackville area, my stomping grounds ( black soil, dried up creek beds and some fun jumps )ive tried motorcross and never again, just did not enjoy it one bit
so thats pretty much me keen to meet some new blokes and see if i can give AND get some advice
cheers nathan

You need to hook up the clowns from Tamworth, they will show you a good time on the trails and with a goat.

November 9, 2012 at 11:38 am #232217G’day Nathan, A mate of mine lives out off the Blackville road near where you are. Has a xr and also a big Kato 990 Adventure. Has many mates that do some wild trails up your way. The more the merrier I think.
November 13, 2012 at 10:30 am #232245cheers for the welcome guys, after signing up i realised this is for the older fella’s … oh well haha
yea for sure i have only been on the trail that goes down into the dam and the one to the berry patch, its alright but am currently trying to track down a 1 tonner as the VX clubsport just isnt practical for the motorbike lifestyle
haha that was my worst fear going arse up in the start, i was so nervous on the start line cause i had no idea what i got myself into ! oh the dust … dont get me started on the dush haha nah it wasnt that bad ive been in worse
dirt hopper i know who your talking about, me and him have been on many trail rides together around the local area, should try organise a run up coolah tops … for those that are keen on some hard riding with a awsome view!
cant wait to start riding with you fella’s … gotta ask but … what are you all like about exhaust pipes ? i got a pro circuit pipe, its not horribly loud but it has a nice note … would you guys rather the stock pipe back on to go trail riding ?
November 13, 2012 at 10:49 am #232471Yeah Rookie, I am sure we are talking about the same bloke. Have done a couple of trips out there mate….magic spot. Havent ridden the area only been out there to chase down a few pigs. Although did have a quick spin on his big Kato last visit. Have been a good friend of his family for nearly 30 years now I think.
November 13, 2012 at 10:53 am #232473bloody oath he has some awsome trails in his backyard ! how does the big kato go !
November 13, 2012 at 11:02 am #232474Only rode down to the front gate and back,
but I reckon you could sit there nearly all day as it was a pretty comfortable unit mate
