Cheers for the tip Ollie. I hate government but really mate you need to calm yourself down mate :laugh: Dont pop a vain I am no labour party fan but either government or any would be government would doing these things, Rego increases, speed cameras etc mate. If you believe otherwise well then you can pay your increased rego from the money the tooth fairy leaves you :laugh: :laugh:

Yeh Im hearing you. Im a bit peeved at the moment as the Dr has made me TMU (temporarily Medically Unfit ) for sea $$$ I have some Hyper Tension happening (High blood Pressure) and these a holes dont make it any easier :angry:

be interesting to know how many of us get pinged for speeding in the next 12 months

Amazing what makes a piece of road a blackspot

Mitchell H’way Dubbo 5 accidents 1 fatal 5 injured

Bruxner H’way Lismore 138 accidents 5 fatal 65 injured

Back Marsden Rd Forbes 3 accidents 2 fatal 1 injured

Seems when someone is unlucky enough to lose their life the road is a blackspot.

Some of the roads are in need of upgrade, maybe this is how they can pay to fix the roads.

100% about money 0% about saving lives IMO..

The roads in this country are shocking.. They are not wide enough and no where near 1st world standard.. If you have ever been over to the US or Europe you will know what I mean.. I have been to Syria and other places in the middle east and the roads are even better there and they are supposed to be 3rd world..

The Australian road fatality is because of shit roads, cheap cars and poor driver education.. Germany is the country to model on..

In the US the state of Arizona has just removed every speed camera in the entire state because since they installed them the road fatality has gone up not down.. Plus they admitted it was about revenue raising and was also considered an invasion of privacy..

Nothing we can do about it as the governments will always do what they want not what we want..

Funny how we never have any money for our infrastructure needs but they always have money to kill people in far away places..

Speed cameras… All the more reason to ride single track exclusively! I’m working on a route from my place to my office, then to various sites around the state.

It is revenue raising at its lowest I think, and TB is correct, doesn’t matter who the govt of the day is, this would still be implemented.

Solution: Get your kicks on places where there are no speed cameras, or better yet, where it is FUN to travel slow. I can think of a few places like that! On roads, drive like your grandmother.
