Ask Champo, who constantly tears sidewalls on em:P

He had one as a test tyre recently & the sidewall was punctured by a fairly small stick,, OUCH

Champo tried to do quick finny leak repair on his  Hole was too big from the stick:unsure: So it was an extended lunch stop while he patched the inside of the sidewall as well:side:

They might be ok for nice cruisy firetrail stuff Boony, just beware of rocks & sticks :silly:

    Happy Birthday Boony

    Tyres are a massive debate

I have tried most I feel and like
    Michelins (top of the market)
Some Maxxis (middle of the market)
Some Bridgestone (middle to top of the market)
Couple of rear Dunlops (middle of the market)

I recently tried Ollie’s retreads and found the fronts ok has worn and gripped ok, the rears arent worth a knob of goat s*#t, no grip in ant conditions and wear real fast (my opinion of course Ollie)

I was today talked into purchasing a new Bridgestone on the market to try, dont know if you dont try

The tyres I use range in price from $225 to $105.

Also worth considering side wall ratings for flex that can help grip and reduce puncture’s

    Good luck

Thats my 2 cents worth, from my years

Heaps kms for sure Eagle, but not real grippy, see you cant get both just a balance, them and Kendas are what I used to run years ago when I lived at Wyee and rode three times a week, did the job but I guess

Hey forgot Pirelli Scorpion (not the MT18), be one of the best used for along time rear tyres that is, it is the longest klm rear I have used on my bike ever over 1450klms

I recommended them to Moto and Crash who are happy with them, and Rocket who used one for the whole four day and liked it, get one of those, cant believe I forgot
