Just got off the phone with my Mechanic Jed at Bikes and Bits, had my bike in for a service and to get a “few” dints out of it
He asked me if i had any enemies?????
Well, not a question i have been asked before,so i said well…probably not as many as Hitler, but what has that got to do with my bloody bike?????He thinks someone has dropped a steel/alloy object into the chamber opening where you put your oil in,seems to be steel/alloy all through my bike      Who the F$%# would do such a dog act????????
Going to see him in the morning,i’m pissed
Anyone one had this happen to them before???
    Not amused

Not only have I not heard of this happening  I couldn’t imagine anyone doing it to you

Having said that how happy was your wife after you injured yourself

It must be something from the engine. I’ve had experience with stray objects being found in engines :pinch:

Hope it turns out to be something simple, however having particles travel through you engine is not good regardless of where it came from :(

    Adam.

Hmmm remeber at cells when it sounded like 6 cats having an orgy then that bit flew out the side of your engine case and then the motor went quiet? Possible connection there Bolls, tell Matt to swap it over for a 250 there strong enough to drag my fat arse around. Dont touch thos orange ones though they seem to always be on a trailer!

It either hasnt been fixed correctly last time it blew apart thats my first guess given its only been ridden about a half dozen times since it punched a hole in the side. When it failed last time metal would have gone all through the engine, did they replace all the bearings and split the cases? Stick to you guns find out what was done last time and what they replaced.

2nd guess something else is failing would still want to know why

To say someone put something in your engine when the bike has only been on old bull rides or at your house is crazy, it really is. The whole statement I find strange, is it something they see in Tamworth

What about the awful sound that fancy clutch was making on sand hill that day.

Wouldn’t imagine that anyone you ride with would be that stupid to drop anything in there. But those bling bolts for the oil cap would make it harder for them to do so. Might get one of them myself now.

Boony wouldn’t know the front from the back of his bike let alone know when to turn the choke off :P  besides Boony wouldn’t be caught dead near a Honda. Now a Yamaha is a different story hey Boony.
It isn’t part of your recluse is it Bol, remember the last time we were out the clutch seemed to be making some funny noises :S
Looks like another rebuild coming on

they are like a good woman .need tender lovin care
    sometimes.

Sorry to hear that mate, I would think that whatever was in there was from when the motor was apart or something has come adrift. Hope there is not to much damage and you get to the bottom of it! ;)

sounds strange to me, not something people you ride with would do … ever.

I’d definatly chase up who did the previous work on your bike, someones f***ed up.

I reckon TBs’ on the money.
Either not stripped & cleaned out properly last time or something is starting to develop.
What caused the last failure Bol? Standard 450’s don’t grenade.
    Crash
