    If anyone else is interested in buying a new safari tank, I will probably get one for my 690 and they advertise if you buy 2 tanks and pay for them at the same time they give a discount??? Dont know how much discount but if anyone else is interested I will give them a ring and find out what the deal is.

    Discount eh? If it is 20% or more it may be worth it but anything less wouldn’t in my over rated opinion.. :laugh: :laugh:

    Had to take my BM up to Newcastle today to have my faulty heated grip replaced before hitting the Alps next week.
    Had a tour of the bike shops while waiting (what else do you do) and jagged a new Safari tank for my 690 at a bargain price of $499 from Newcastle KTM. Shop soiled Lincon said, a bit of dust on it. I told told him it would get alot more dust on it where we are going. :laugh: :laugh: :) :)

    Fuel problem solved, capacity will now be 26 litres all up. :woohoo:

    Camerons corner here we come.

    Hey Rob,

    the tank was for a DRZ, but i sold it a couple of weeks ago and got a Clarke one from the states. Good exchange rate at the moment.
