    Howdy all,
I am in the process or re-learning how to ride. I have recently bought myself a DRZ400SM “06” model after selling my toys a few years ago, getting married, having kids etc. (the usual). Now that the kids are getting old enough to be interested in bikes themselves and wife is getting “told”, things are getting back to the way they should be. I reside in the Riverland of SA and currently looking for someone or events to attend. I expect that most of you guys eat dirt only, not tar you may not be able to help me, but if you have any suggestions please assist.
My bike is stock as I have not had it long. If anyone is able to help me with finding a DRZ400 E header pipe or muffler please let me know as I am willing to pay a reasonable price. Apparently the E model header is 3mm larger diameter than the SM pipe. Thanks for any assistance.B)

Thanks Trailboss, will be looking forward to reading and learning about Kiwi’s DRZ. I am new to 4strok bikes so am on a steep learning curve at the moment. My last bike was a TS250 “87” model. Good reliable bike, but the DRZ is much more fun. The other week I come home from a ride and heard a top end rattle. I have investigated the noise and spoken to a few different ones and they said it is typical for DRZ to sound like sowing machines. I thought only 2strokes rattled…..

    Hi DR_ZEUS,

Welcome aboard, I’ve recently got back into riding after like a 17year break, I wouldn’t say I had to learn again but the old skills are taking their time to come back, it’s just a confidence thing, and knowing what the bike can/can’t do and what it is going to do in certain situations. Had a good ride today, check out the ride reports, just gotta get a bit more riding time under my belt and will be sweet.. If you’ve got tech issues or anything you need to know, let us know I’m sure someone here will be able to help..

    Cheers
    Chris.

Thanks Chris. You are exactly right, confidence and control of adrenalin… Thanks for the kind gestures about assistance. I will keep it in mind. As I suggested I am new to 4strokes and modern technology on bikes. Cheers.
