Mick, yes you and Jack are welcome. Weclome to come over to mine Sat night for a couple of beers as well if you’re keen as LC4 is staying over and Darran and his Mrs might come over for some food too.
Maybe see you on Sat Lotsa.
Sat riders are now:
Moto
Darran
LC4Skin
Lotsa (maybe)
Mickktm300
Jack6 is a big enough number to get through the bush without too many drama’s
Saturdays tentative loop will be:
Singles from Dunks to Hitchcocks
Down Hitchcocks, up Whitemans
Down Woose Hill (I think) and up Zig Zag
Maculata to WF Road
Duffys/Panadol loop back to the startSeptember 7, 2012 at 2:24 am #2289819am ready to ride at the servo behind Westfield for the Sunday Ourimbah ride. It will give me and LC a chance to sober up
All good with you Adam?

September 7, 2012 at 8:33 pm #229075What a pussy, make him go out Sat night as well!!
He’s only a young tacker!
Darran can’t make the Sun ride now as he is moving house, so I might need a peral of wisdom or two Adam. I pretty much know the way, there’s just a couple of singles I may miss if unguided….
September 9, 2012 at 10:51 pm #229076Well, Saturday started off with 8 of us and after a short while was whittled down to 6 with Jack and Clint heading back to the cars. Myself, Darran, Mick Ktm, Lotsa, LC4Skin & Dude got on with the rest of the ride making faster time. We rode most of the singles but ended up going a bit father than I had intended and popped out next next to Tunks.
In order to keep time we high tailed on the fire trail for 2-3Km to get back to Hitchcocks. With Hitchcocks dispacthed we started to make our way up towards Whitemans. At the creek just before Whitemans (the only bit of water on the whole ride), Dude managed to superman over the bars in front of us all and land squarly in the creek
It was bloody funny and the only time during the ride a picture was taken! Luckily he was okay.
Everyone had some form of stack going up Whitemans. Darran pulled off a perfect 180 on the top of a rock ledge and somehow managed to hold onto his bike…to the applaud of the rest of us watching. I did the same on the next rock ledge but just let go of my bike
Woose hill was done the easy way (down) and we rode up Zig Zag without too many drama’s either. Arriving at the ‘bumcrack’ we all dropped over the daunting looking rock face. Dude was last and was clearly a little nervous. Inching his bike over the precipice with his body weight right back he looked to have it under control until his bike slipped an inch and he decided to bail! As his bike began to kartwwheel down the rock ledge and smash into the ground Dude’s Spiderpig senses were tingling and rolled across the rock face and somehow managed to grip onto the face in a perfect rock climbing position that Murph and Mal would surely have been proud of…..maybe he’s been having lessons?
Back through Maculata, Duffy’s singles and then finally the Panadol hill loop, I think it’s fair to say we were all fairly tired after the ride. I was doing it tough all day and have never had so many cramps in different muscles.
MickKTM (the male model) and LC4Skin came back to mine for beers, joined later by Lotsa, Matt and Elyse. It was a good day, I was sore but the free flowing beer then cider, followed by wine helped to sooth the pain…….temporarily
Thanks to all that came on the Sat ride
September 10, 2012 at 8:11 am #229185Top ride Moto

September 10, 2012 at 9:56 am #228650Whats goin on Sam
Your old man would have backed up the next day and rode :cheer:
Maybe you should consider a “different kind of riding” and drink brown stuff from a Mug

Pmed moto and offered to sweep his ride, he said cool or something like that. :cheer:
Turned up at starting point where ktmmick and Jack were getting ready.
I said to Jack that I was looking forward to scaling some legendary hills I have heard about. :cheer:
He said he hadn’t ridden for 6 months.Moto and the crew turned up and away into the wilderness we advance. :cheer:
Bit dusty but as sweep you can back off a bit so as to let the dust disperse, just at a length so as the dust cloud is drifting away from your path.
What sticks in my mind is a track called ‘Whitemans’ :woohoo:
This trail is on par with Amazon but with more rock steps, It was quite challenging.
It’s a bucket list trail, a must do once, just to say you done it.Went down woose hill that is sight to behold, its magic to look up at the angle and to see 40steps in 50 meters. :woohoo:
Good crew and special thanks to LC4skin for lending and hand on the critical sections of these mad accents.
Its was an excellent ride and felt very satisfied later on. :cheer:
Thanks for letting me tag along.
Dude
PS in that creek I thought I saw a gold nugget so went to investigate. 😆
Bad bum crack……….what happen was this..
Following the crew and they disappeared over this cliff I get to the edge and focus down and the line was right to left, bad sharp rocks on right at bottom ……so
got off bike to drag the ass end of bike so as to be set up for a better line but there was a tree in the way and couldn’t drag back end around enough,
so I thought I will change direction as I decend.
At the top there was a step on my left and My LHS peg was getting caught up on this bum cheek and as I was on my way….it was causing tipping to my bike to the right.,,,,,,,, bad side
F**k this and spun to my left to catch a ledge on the rock face as I was dropping which I done then managed the slow drop to the bottom.I say success
:cheer:
made it.
😆 😆September 10, 2012 at 9:38 pm #229229Sounds like a great day
I love all that Southend mayhem
If I had of been home a day earlier I would of been with ya’s
Cheers
