    Hey Bulls

Are the silicon sprays you get in auto shops for $5 the same gear as Shine and Go. Or what about Mr Sheen? Is it all the same stuff?

You may not have noticed STM but I have a fetish for bike shine, it has gone unnoticed by most

After years of using all bike shines (for product testing purposes only  ) I can confidently share my opinion tomorrow  Only so I can be sure of the names and what the cans look like, will post pictures tomorrow. At the moment I am using Muc-offs silicon spray and will say its as good as anything else on the market I have used.

By the way silicon spray makes washing your bike so much easier after a ride ;)

    Tomorrow then

Of cause this is my opinion only, but in my experience the Export Brand cheapy that you get from Super Cheap does just as good job as the expensive ones.

Yes I have tried the expensive ones as well.

Inox all over your motor is the ducks guts for giving even a tired looking engine a nice sheen.

And like what has already been said spraying your bike with what ever spray you use does make washing that much easier and quicker.

But give your bike a good clean first up to reep the benefits of using any shining product.

Inox is just a brand name of Lubricant like WD40,,,, GOOD STUFF FOR ALL SORTS OF APPLICATIONS

I myself use CT13 to soak & wash the bike, then light wipe on the plastics with a vinyl protectant,,, think it is a CRC brand now you mention it :)

I have the CRC Silicone here too (actualy get it cheap from a place I frequent sometimes)

    the good old Inox,

and i saw it on special today at super cheap…3 cans for $10-12 or something.

its been around for years ;)

I sprayed my bike 6 weeks ago with Valvoline Tyne shine and it has stayed looking real schmick in the garage.

Some tyre shine products may be harmful to your plastics so I’d be careful which ones you go spraying everywhere!

CTA bike shine in a blue is the best I have used over the years. Muc-offs silicon spray I am trying now and seems great but i need a really muddy ride to see how it comes off to be 100%. The cheap tyre shine is good on tyres I have to say. Try them all but I have found in my opinion pay a little more works a lot better.

I like the the cheap tyre shine in the blue cans from supercheap. It’s nice and cheap and works well over the whole bike. I hav’nt tried the dearer stuff though. The wife is always on to me spending money on the bike so i’m always lookin to save a few dollars….the kitty’s lookin pretty sad at the moment also.

I use a similar silicon spray called 601, only cause of the ‘procurement’ price…

And like it has been said already, it is easier to wash the crud off after,, even good sticky ‘pine forest mud’..
I spray most of the bike especially under the guards and the mud washes off pretty well.
light dust seems to stick to it really quick though.

    Cheers
