What a top day out.
Punishing, brutal, amazing are just some of the words to explain it.
With only three of us we decided to do some hard stuff.
Starting with all of our singles out to Awaba and then on to Wakey.
Thrillseeker was keen to show us his latest projects in a part of bush that I had never been so off we rode to spot X. Great job, Thrillseeker.Definately grade 5 stuff and Tim and I were stoked with what you’s have put in. :woohoo:
If its one thing KTM should look into is a better cooling system.
Had the 500 hissing due to the thermo fan not working again. Not happy with that as Ihad just put a new thermo censor in a few months back. Tried to bridge the system by removing the wires from the thermo switch and placing a spare fuse in line. No joy, so it was push on hoping for small open sections to get some air through the big girl. That didn’t happen much as we ended up helping Thrillseeker cut a new track, so I just had to have small breaks to cool her down.
Anyway after riding some awesome gnarly steps and singles we headed for Tims new project, Dandelion Creek :S :S
Bloody hell that was hard work.
As expected he has lifted his game yet another level which makes it very hard on his poor old man on a bloody 500 :pinch:
Tim was making it look much easier than it was and Thrillseeker and I struggled at every filthy rock and yes it was all rocks. :silly: :side:
After an hour or so we had made only a few hundred metres and had come to a waterfall which will need a fair bit of work to make it possible so around we turned and headed back down.
Tim and I left Thrillseeker as he had a family dinner planned and we headed home the easy way
It was 2:30 when we got home and I was shagged and did nothing but lay on the lounge all arvo.
Thanks for showing us your track, Thrillseeker and thanks for dragging us up you crazy one Tim.
Some pics to come
Cheers

It was a good enjoyable ride untill the last creek. I am not going to call it a track yet as it needs a lot of work Tim. Only 1 day and some tools and it will be good to ride. Even my 200 was getting hot.
It was a long ride home. So stuffed.
Thanks for the ride Murph & Tim.
AWESOME RIDE.
