I am sitting here sunday morning struggling with what must be the worlds slowest and unreliable internet connection feeding a duck and two kangaroos on our cabin deck.
Yesterdays loops I must say were pound for pound the best loops I have ever ridden. To explain that statement, normally you find a sweet single and it cools but there is a massive transport to it or the likes not here. Its often said here that if you missed this ride you missed the best ride, tracks social time etc but this time its true. The wet, loam, tight , flowing singles here rock and they dont stop. We rode some amazing tracks with obstacles thrown in to just keep you on your toes. We rode along the beach twice, had dollar beers, raised $1041.55 for Movember  :woohoo: , drank, ate, rode and laughed. We went to the widowmaker a very big, long, steep and intimidating hill. I have a heap of video and pictures that I will load next week that are worth a watch.
A big thanks in no particular order
STM, Nickj for the loops, leading and leaving no stone unturned
Boony for taking the Charity Jug and working the pub and crowds and stopping talk with a whistle
STM’s Dad for driving the jerry cans around and helping
Itsagas for taking part in the wheel race thanks mate that was appreciated
Aaron for laying challenges to raise money Bollocks for doing the auction work legend
Ollie for donating the bike carrier to be auctioned and Nickj for purchasing it
Old Al for letting us use his bike for the wheel race
Moose for cleaning up last night after we had finished (I saw you cleaning the cooking places and benches  )
Factory for his Rossi ride report
All the QLD guys for driving down for the ride (Pikeys
)
Jeffro for buying a $100 voucher for 200 for charity (That rocks
)
The Amble Inn for picking us up, dropping us off, and looking after stuff of us great pub
Darlington Van park for everything what a facility
Chicken and Huskybloke for making the drive for the day form down the Central Coast area
If I have forgotten anybody I am very sorry your efforts are appreciated
Like I said at the start if you missed this ride you really missed out (so true this time
)
Bring on the ride reports :woohoo:

Ride report soon !
November 28, 2010 at 8:46 am #191483In the past, I have thought, I don’t put on to bad ride weekend. I hereby give notice that I more than likely wont bother doing it again.
After this weekend the bar has been risen so far, I would have no hope in emulating what STM and Nick have pulled off this weekend!!
The organising that went into this ride is a credit to STM and Nick, the location, the meals and not to mention the trails, will take some beating, so I have decided to not even try. ( OK I might try but wont succeed)
I had a great time and would like to thank STM,Nick and all the Old Bulls that turned up for what would have to be one of the best weekends I have ever had on a dirt bike!!
Some of the highlights for me in no particular order were:
THE TRAILS!!!!
The camaraderie
THE TRAILS
The location
THE TRAILS
The mass of bikes and blokes at the briefing
THE TRAILS
Krusty’s 35th crash for the day.
THE TRAILS
Getting up the slippery bank on the XR then getting back down alive.
OK, I BETTER MENTION THE TRAILS they were pretty good.
Pulling a cracker wheelie around a corner
The boys attempt at the widow maker. A laugh a minute.
Bollocks doing the waltz with his WR (you had to be there) The most amazing bit of riding I have ever seen on a trail ride.!!
The after ride snacks and beers at the beach.
The run up the beach
Factory Phil’s wheelie on the beach
Bollock’s auction
Factory Phil’s live Valentino Rossi ride report. (my guts were hurting from laughing)
Moose and I pissed as nits, lost in the Caravan park after the party
The monumental hangover I had this morning!!
I managed to crack a few photo’s off before my battery went flat.
The accommodation location
The over friendly locals
The wierdos at the pub.
Random ride pics
The briefing
Random trail pics
Justo gave the Kato what for all weekend
Huskybloke had a good time
There was some tricky spots
Strucky nailed it
But then struggled here
Boony, Look at me look at me!! Take a photo!!
Strucky, micknmeld and Boulder
Boony, Look at me look at me!! Take a photo!! I am still up right.
Bollocks crashing into a tree
Super sweep Tdriver.
Sweet stuff, it was a bit greasy
Krusty Nailed this log!!!!
Justo had a moment
Moose and ol Burple just took everything in their stride
Krusty ate shit big time on this log
One downer for the weekend was when RCHonda got taken out by a roo and we had to get him out of the bush as his radiator was stuffed and so was his arm
Bollocks was a big help
WE managed to get RC out of the bush and it was good to hear that his arm wasn’t broken
Just some other random pics
TB Leading Moose astray
The bikes at the pub at lunch
Crash, Factory Phil and TB
Some of Queenslands Old Bulls
Thanks to everyone who turned up,I had a great weekend and if you were there and didn’t have a great time, you are a hard bugger to please!!

That photo doesn’t do the crash justice.. It was a good crash.. Except for the bike being pinned under me left leg crushing my calf
Get the bike off get the bike off..
Mmmmm Yum Yum Coffs dirt tastes lovely..
November 28, 2010 at 9:09 am #191479Ahhh how sweet it was in single track heaven.
It was the weekend that just kept giving. And that was due to the amount of work STM and Nickj put in to make it all work
In fact I think it was agreed that they are the new OBT ride team and that they should start on the next one NOW :woohoo: :woohoo:
Everything was catered for. From the accommodation to the almost free beer at the end of the ride, it was all good  The trails were great. Single track Heaven it is. The amount of effort you put into organising the loops, food, pub transport, snacks accommodation etc etc was amazing.
The only thing they forgot to organise was their transport home in the early hour of Sunday morning when the beer ran out   I hope that Taxi finally arrived and could fit in Nickj new bike rack
I didn’t take any picture but there was plenty taken and they will tell the story of the weekend better than I can.
Thanks to all that came along and made it such a fun
weekend.Who’s free to do it again next weekend :woohoo: :woohoo:

I’m not looking forward to riding down this way now after the trails in Coffs. I’ve been spoilt. It’s worth travelling over 6 hours for a days ride there.
Best ride I’ve ever had. Great to meet the faces and thanks to everyone organisers and riders. Great effort with Movember too.
lotsa
