I have heard reports that some versions of wife 1.0 come with an add on called mother in law 0.666. Try to avoid this add on at all costs, as it will tend to override nearly all your commands and cause operating gliches with wife 1.0.
Should MIL 0.666 cause you any grief I recommend you try

May 29, 2009 at 2:47 am #137131I have also heard of people have success with wife V0.2 which is only available from the Philippines. It is said to be user friendly and much more compliant than the versions available here.

I suspect he’s trying to run a modern version on an ancient 3.5″ floppy that works sporadically.
CPU needs replacing, doesn’t process quick enough, either that or he has too big a harddrive and all his resources are wasted trying to run it.

Well Boony, computers are like sex but in reverse. = a computer you put the software into the hardware!
May 29, 2009 at 4:20 am #137146I think Boony’s problem could be partially resolved by the installation of A-Clue 1.1 which is a great resource, and overwrites any of the ongoing conflicts caused by the 3.5″ floppy. If the problem is related to his harddrive though, I suspect it may be more cost effective to completely format Boony 1.0 and try a new operating system with more resources.
May 29, 2009 at 4:36 am #137147Man you guys are cracking me up, don’t know how you hold down full time jobs.

Yep Corrupted system here, now he thinks he’s a gaming machine plaing soccer no less, probably an 1980’s Atari (same design era as the Zook Eh?)or commodore 64 reckon he needs a reboot and replacing that 3.5″ floppy with an external Stick that works.

May 29, 2009 at 5:48 am #137156Oi, you blokes. You are very funny! I’ve just read through all your ramblings. The ‘double onton’ (or however you spell it) is brilliant. I was giggling like a schoolgirl. How good is it to finish a days work, come home, crack a beer/ rum and read through some light, meaningless funny stuff. Well done, Keep it up!
