    Hi All
Well I’ve had problems with the clutch using /losing fluid so I pulled the slave cylinder out tonight and yep there is a groove inside, so oil must be getting round the o-ring. Asked local shop today about new slave cylinder and 280 replacement. Where are you guys buying parts from. Ktm 450 exc is the new ride if I can get fixed

What year and model is ya bike? There is a wreckers up around the Coffs area that might have one. I wounldn’t recomend them to work on ya bike because they are hopeless but they do have heaps of second hand parts and may be able to get you rolling again. Post ya bike details and I will ring them tomorrow.

    Hi Uncle fester
    It’s a 450 exc 07 – thats the sad part, It’s only done 2000km, so I hope it’s not an ongoing thing

What’s going on there Craig? Were you pulled to the ‘Dark side’ after they made you bury your old faithful green beast!

Is it just the o ring or the cylinder itself? I had to replace my master and it was bloody pricey but my mechanic managed to track a 2nd hand one down. Is it a magura or brembo? From memory the Magura units are easier to come by at a good price but of course mine is brembo :(

    Hi crash
things have been going good, the old green girls not dead yet, but had to update before I trashed her, I do like new one better – power is addictive and so nice to ride.

    Hey austblue
It’s the cylinder itself, it has a groove around half the bore, don’t know how it has happened, it’s like it has not been sitting straight, It’s a stock magura 07 model – think the brembos came out 08

You best check that mate because mine is an 07 model and I’m sure its brembo.
