Day started crisp and cool
Headed out to Awaba and did a few nice singles.
Rode past the West Lakes Moto track and cossed the road to find a gate (Sugarloaf recreation area) with another sign saying that the area has survalence (spelling) cameras. Youve got to be joking:laugh:
Rode a few great singles out the back of Freemans and then down Razorback to the Gap for fuel
Next was the Southside wich is getting a bit overgrown with bloody scurge Lantana
Headed towards the renowned Amazon via Smurph & my new single :woohoo:
Up to where it starts to get tricky and Tim takes the lead after having walked a large section the week before
Tim makes it without assistance (not tidy but made it never the less) :woohoo:
Then it was my turn
Hit the rock steps with as much courage as I could muster :S Also made it without assistance but not as tidy as Tims untidy attempt (never the less I made it :silly: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Continued up some more ledges, rock steps, fallen trees, long steep slabs of mossy rocks and tree roots steps everywhere :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Eventually topped out on one of the Watagan ridge roads and headed for home :woohoo:
Well worth the adventure and I strongly recomend that it only be left to the very experienced or the totally insane (lucky I fit the later)
Pics to come later
Cheers
