Hi, Did a couple of hours(60K’S) at Anglsea yesterday and the shoulder held up Ok until I got home and cooled down and then started to freeze up again. The best madicine for that was beers and a spa and then lots more beers that certainly numbed the pain. Much better this morning so my medicine must have worked.
I meet up with a group who were on an organised ride and got talking about the site as they saw the stickers on my good friend the DRZ (as it didn’t spit me off this time).They were hooked up with the Ottway Trailriders. Looked like a good bunch and well organised so I might book in for one of their trips to see how it is( aroung 180k’s I’m told). Hopefully get a copuple more Vic riders signed up as most of the group were older riders. They looked surprised when I took the helmet off and they saw my grey locks and bald head underneath.
Had the injection this afternoon ( boy are they fun, not) the doc said to give it six weeks if it does not improve they will try something called a hydro stretch before having to go under the knife.
Thing are looking more promising as I survived the ride so I will have another go this weekend maybe a bit longer this time to put a bit more pressure on it.
