Hi Guys,
on offer is my xt600 yamaha.
its a classic 1987 model with only 38,000km on it. NOT 84,000 AS PREVIOUSLY STATED!
I bought it to finish it and register it but i just bought a dr650 so have lost interest in it.
I’m willing to part it out or swap it for a smaller MX/enduro bike.
its had heaps spent on it including:
new wave rear disc
new rear caliper
new brake pads
new handlebars
new rear rim, new spokes and fitting
new turn signals (yet to be fitted)
new rear tyre, tube and rim lock
new carby insulators
new header pipes
new mirrors
new petrol cap
new ignition barrell
we recently had the rocker cover off to inspect the cam, it was in excellent condition. (have the pics if you need them)
All the electrics have been checked over, terminals cleaned etc.
the whole bike was recently stripped and the frame was painted white and the tank was painted blue (not a very good paint job on the tank though)
rear wheel was stripped down and respoked with a new rim fitted.
many reciepts come with this bike.
inspection is welcome and encouraged. Bike is located in Wauchope / Port Macquarie region.
the headlight cowling has a split in it, (ill upload the pics later), and the battery has been removed.
i’m asking $1250 for the bike and I can supply a blue slip (at your cost) and a travel permit so you can ride it home. (or i can deliver it on my ute).
carby needs attention, it has a blockage somewhere and the lights are crap (maybe from lack of battery). there is a oil leak from the magneto cover gasket somewhere. I just couldnt be buggered with working on it and have too many other projects.
if i cant sell it complete ill part it out or swap it for a smaller enduro/MX bike
