So, I go out to the shed to pack all the crap up for sunday. Realise the towball isn’t on the ute so, thinking I’d taken it off I start searching the shed…and then search the shed again…and then pull the back of the ute to pieces…farken thing’s gorn! some tnuc obviously thought he needed it more than me! BASTARDS!!!

Now that I’ve vented…I’m off to find a replacement hitch towing thingo. (i dont even know what they’re called so this’ll be fun!!)

do you have a hayman reece tow bar?

you now have a square hole in your tow bar? and a hole at 90ยบ to that hole where you slide in your tow ball tongue?

    if that makes any sense?

This is why the put camera’s in phones, take a photo of where the towball was and go to the shop and just show them the photo.

make sure you buy the locking system for the pin, instead of just the R clip

Yep it appears as though I’ve had a tow ball mount stolen and didn’t even know it!

Lucky I didn’t realise in the morning!

It usually stays off the car which is why I searched the shed. I have a pad lock that’ll fit the pin, I reckon with all the mud my thing gets into a locking pin might not be very reliable,

I`m in the habbit of taking the trailor off the truck by leaving the trailor hooked to the tow ball and just removing the (towball mount) from the towbar..I have had 2 flogged so far.

Hey Shane, I have one from my old Toytota Camry that I kept, it may fit, I’ll bring it with me.

    Cheers
    Chris.
