MurphSeptember 19, 2010 at 10:47 pm #187617Looking forward to the report and pics Murph. I’ll have to keep an eye on future rides now I’m back on the bike. Cheers.
September 19, 2010 at 10:58 pm #187618Still feeling it today :woohoo:
Great ride 120+kms of singles and gnarly hills :woohoo:
Smurph into it
Diddel’s new toy
Another bloody tree
Tim up Hitchy’s
Diddel about to throw the new toy away
Diddel throwing her awayMust admit I did have trouble keeping the pace, especially after I bent my gear shift (kept finding neutral or the same bloody gear) Whilst at the Pines I removed the offending gear lever and bent it back into some sort of managable unit.
Tim and I woosed Woose hill and opted for the easier single line where I still managed to flip the big girl. Tim shot straight up with no worries
Can’t wait for the next ride
Cheers
MurphSeptember 20, 2010 at 3:12 am #187604Did Diddel win the lottery?
Abandoned the Ass Gasser for something more serious?
Don’t forget to safety wire the throttle cable outer Diddel.September 20, 2010 at 5:35 am #187605Good one Murph,
Was reading elsewhere the big girl has 12000k on it now, that must = 24000k looking at your rides mate.Gotta be a good unit to cover that much rocks.

Don’t forget to safety wire the throttle cable outer Diddel.1. I wish. Just over time and time off bike thanks to ktm newcastle f***ing me around for 10 weeks.
2. Button, PDS, didn’t hate TF2’s when I had a ride.
3. The issue you’re suggesting I try prevent being the cable sleeve coming out of the housing hole and seating outside resulting in WOT?
Gasser did that a couple times, all my fault from either camel back not tucked behind strap or cable not correctly adjusted.350kms later I thoroughly enjoy it! :woohoo:.
Also Woos Hill will be cleanly mine, soon, I hope .
September 20, 2010 at 11:43 am #187661Good stuff mate, you’ll love it. Yes the famous WOT problem I was referring to. Those KTM dealers are a bunch I agree. See you on a ride that way next time.

Bad dealers is reason I didn’t repeat the 300.[/quote]Thats where i got mine from and I had no problemos with them or the bike. I know a few other blokes from up the coast and here in Newy also go there for their new ktms. They have a good rep for enduro bikes and alot of good riders come from around there. Good one Diddel …catch ya on the trails mate
