I checked the calendar and discovered that i didn’t have anything organised for the weekend,
I mention to she who must be obeyed, how about i throw the bike on the trailer chuck in the kids boogie boards, load up on beer and wine and we rack over to the coast for a relaxing weekend, she gave me the nod of approval so my spare weekend was no longer spare. 
Next problem were to go to, Mmmm so many choices, north, south?? I know lets sneak into STMs back yard and book a cabin for 4 days at the Darlington van park. :woohoo:
Booking made off we headed, there was a small matter of a specialist appointment at john Hunter first and then off to Coffs we headed. :sick:
8 hours driving seen us pull into Coffs and a nights accommodation at a relies on Thursday night and we were ready for the short trip north on Friday.
This is where this “private weekend” took a turn!!!! :ohmy: :ohmy: Here we are standing at the booking desk at the Darlington resort when she who must be obeyed nudges me on the shoulder and says, Psst isn’t that Aaron and his wife over there, :dry: I looked over and bugger me dead heres rags and the cook about to check into the resort for the same weekend we were they,, :ohmy: I turned to the Missus and said, how freaky is that, said our greetings and then headed to our respective cabins, bugga me dead if they weren’t right near each other. :whistle: After a few ales we decided to have a bit of a walk around the park. 5 minutes into the walk I gets another nudge on the shoulder and she says, isn’t that matt and his bride over there, :ohmy: I looked at her in amazement and said you have got to be kidding who would have thought, :whistle: she gave me one of them “I’m not really believing you “look I said what? :pinch: After matt and his bride came over and said g’day we all set off to finish the walk. Here we are all 3 couples with kids in tow strolling down the road when all of a sudden this blokes lets drive with the horn on his car to get us off the road, we three boys wheeled around about to tear old mate a new one when we realised it was bloody Snowy and his squeeze. :ohmy:
We followed them to their cabin and again it was within a stone’s throw of all ours, :whistle: They decided that they would come along and have a stroll with us as well. Here we are all the boys are doing the, wow image the fluke of all of us picking the same place,same weekend and everything !! bloody unbelievable hey.. :whistle: :whistle: The brides didn’t seem to be sharing our excitement. :pinch:
This walk was getting a bit bloody long so we thought we would take a short cut back to our cabins, we cut through the paths when I hears “BOONY”, I looked around and thought no way,, there was Damo sitting on the veranda of a cabin having a cold one. :ohmy: The look on his other half was very similar to the look we were all receiving from the girls. :huh: At this point the was about 6 Tamworth riders with partners and tin lids all staying in the same van park and I`ll be buggered if we all didn’t take our bikes.
I turned to she who must be obeyed and was about to say something and she just glared at me.. It turned out I was not the only one getting the glare. :blush: :pinch: :pinch:After some idle chit chat we came up with this really good idea, we may as well go for a ride.
