Ditto for me,,,
Have ran mine like that ever since I got it and so far good reception tracking and messaging. I tried it up on top of the shoulder as well, but it gets in the way of the helmet from time to time and is a pain in the A to use the buttons
July 31, 2013 at 2:40 am #235922I might try and set mine up tonight and give it a test this weekend down the shed.

It would just look a bit silly and embarrassing having them busting down the shed door looking for you
Calls are made first I believe to your contact number to try to find out what is wrong, then the emergency services and you Emargency contacts,,,
Still embarrasing if your just out back in the shed  :laugh:The custom messages are handy to use on the Spot 2.
I have stuff like :
Finished riding for the Day!
I am ok, Mechanical failure, Please bring trailer! (hope to not use that one either) :whistle:July 31, 2013 at 4:24 am #247350EAGLE`02 wrote:Trailraider wrote:EAGLE`02 wrote:Just don`t test the SOS feature  :laugh:Are you speaking from experience mate??
