I thought the same about keeping them clean but when I was getting the Drz ready to sell last week the local stainless shop gave me this stuff called ‘pickling paste’ , they use it to take the burn mark out of stainless steel after welding.
You paint it on and leave it for about 2 minutes then was off. Tea stains , baked on dirt etc straight off , it was amazing.
My pipe came up like new , ( didn’t take the dents out but
)December 15, 2011 at 6:34 pm #213198Also can be done with some Scotchbrite pad & Mothers Mag Polish,,,
Not as abrasive on the skin as Pickling Past  That stuff burns like hell :pinch:December 15, 2011 at 11:39 pm #213211Nickj wrote:I thought the same about keeping them clean but when I was getting the Drz ready to sell last week the local stainless shop gave me this stuff called ‘pickling paste’ , they use it to take the burn mark out of stainless steel after welding.

WTF!! Only a pommy would have tea stains on the exhaust of his, his, his oh shit that’s right it was your DRZ. Well I guess you would stop over at the back paddock when you had the spray vat on the back spraying weeds. The thermos would be out, few scotch fingers biscuits and back to work. Great farm implement the DRZ
Really tea stains :pinch:
