At the Wet Wet Wet Bago ride my boots got water logged. After they eventually dried out they smell like a tom cat has done his business in them. :X Anyone got any ideas on how to “Freshen” them up a bit?

Did you stuff them full of screwed up newspaper and change it 24hrs later, thus drying them quicker leaving no smell and caring for your investment?

Or did you return throw them in the corner hope the fairies would look after them and open a beer

    Try this mate

I just hose mine out when I wash the bike, which is always within a day or 2 after each ride, then I hang them upside down on the clothes line to drip dry and then they sit in the shade until they are completely dry.

If they stink like a tom cat they might need dissinfecting  , but I dont what product to use.
Is there a Muck Off one that will do it?
