G’day all well looking at the weather reports it is going to be around the high 20’s mark next weekend good for riding and since my partner has a couple of weeks off work starting today she wants to go out and do some riding, we are going to camp there Friday 15th & Saturday night 16th of Jan so if anyone would like to join us for a weekend of bike riding or if you like just come out for a day ride you are more than welcome, we will be camping at the same place we had the Partners weekend back in Nov through my forum there are pictures of the weekend and of the area, it is bigger enough to have a c/van there or tent, swag,,plus there is a dunny there so that will keep the girls happy :).

You would need rec rego and min learners licence, there is some really good tracks in the Strath Ranges everything from beginners to advanced.

Anyway the offer is there we will be getting there around lunchtime Friday and setting up camp, for those that dont know my number if you want to ring me up to get directions 0407 887 109 or just send me a message and I can explain how to get there, it is easy to find.

    Cheers Mick.

No prob JAK I relise this ride is at short notice but it is a case of head out in between the hot spells and that looks to be a good time weather wise and the fact it is a weekend, but like I said all are welcome we like a beer-bourbon why’ll sitting around bench talking about the days riding.

Yes XY-Transit if you google Strathbogie Ranges you will see Swanpool town on the east side that is were you drive in from it is about 9K’s of tar then easy dirt going road right to the camp site, the camp area is called James Reserve its right on a creek up in the the valley, it does not matter what level of rider turns up as there will be something for everyone’s skill lever,,if average to better riders turn up I can take them on some more challenging trails if not then we will just stick to the more easier fire trails etc.

    Cheers Mick.

Strathbogie ride is a no go now, short notice always makes it hard for people to get it together,,,so I am heading to Kevington, Jamieson area Friday, Saturday & Sunday I will be camping along the woods point rd on the river there, if anyone is in the area drop by and say g’day you cant miss me 6f2 130kg driving a silver rodeo 08 ute :cheer:

    Cheers Mick.
