    Hi All,

A few of us Newcastle riders did the Sugarloaf Lookout Loop ride last week and here is a video of it.
I didn’t realise we were all Old Bulls (except for Rodgerdodger’s mate Brian from Sydney) until after the ride, so I can call it an Old Bull ride after all!

The tracks were quite boggy in places, dropping the pace considerably. I’ve never seen it so slippery.
Newby Brian pulled up at Freemans Roundabout with a flat, and limped up to the Gap Servo. The valve body had pulled away from the tube. (Note to self – carry spare tubes rather than a puncture repair kit).Rogerdoger had a spare while others helped out with the tools.

After lunch when we finally arrived at Mt Faulk Road (Watagans) we were pressed for time so we skipped Heaton Lookout and returned to Freemans via Becks Rd and Osland Rd.

Note: When the Megavideo site opens, click the green button. Unfortunately this will also open a second (advertisement) window so close it when once you see it open. Select ‘small player, cinema on, then click the red button to play the video.

    Cheers,

Thanks guys for the compliments re video.

Looks like I can’t post them anymore on Photobucket as this one was rejected due to music copyright. I’m not real good behind a guitar, so Megavideo it is. Apparently heaps of videos on Youtube are being doctored by this new music copyright detection program (its name escapes me for now) such that you can play the video but the audio has been muted. No doubt others will be changing to another web site to host their videos.

Ollie, Rogerdodger’s KDX – he must certainly look after his bikes as it’s 1989 model!

No Eagle, 26 June was a Friday. It was a shift worker/retiree/work dodger/dole bludger ride.
btw Frank P and a mate were there on the Thursday doing a Watagans ride. I was invited along but if I had gone I would have had to bolt on the training wheels for the Friday ride.

89?B) now that was a time  A mate of mine who is now 60 rides a 89 model RMX registered as a TS. He is a Dungog boy and still rides at a pretty fair crack. legend
