with just me and murph riding we didnt stop to take photos, at all.
if your still reading, then here goes…… left sunny arcadia vale about 8.30, swang by and got murph and we headed out towards awaba.
usual trails minus the big single at awaba. out to wakefield without incident and we headed towards the gap.
I wanted to try/find some new singles and we struck gold!
congratulations to whoever created this single, the entrance of the main trail isnt obvious, and immediately drops down a steep hill into some sweet twists and drops. into a creek and up,up ,up we went twisting between the trees and ferns.popped out on the main trail and a bit further along found another single section made by the same hands.THey have a few tree markers up along the trails ,so can asssume the same group made both trails we rode. Intend to explore these on later rides as there was some offshots still to ride.
the gap for lunch then into the south side.

I can to grief on the same hill that SCottyh damaged his shoulder on last winter.
both knees struck handlebars on the way over , giving me some bruising.
along becks road and back through awaba to home, incident free.

A nice first ride back after a couple of months off, 75k`s , one fall. alls good.

Good work Morgo – I think I know that sweet trail that you found. One of my most favourite local rides :)

    yep its nice.
Once we explore it further ,will probably work it into our grade 4 rides as its start and finish point work in well withcurrent loop.

Murph, may have to trim other sections to fit it in.
Also its probably a dry weather only trail due to some of the black soil climbs, dont want to rut it out .

when you think you know most trails in the area its good to find a new one.

    Cheers Morgo
Sundays temp was much friendlier for riding than the previous day
Had a nice day out finding a new single, (thanks, to whoever made it) :woohoo:
May just have to throw it all together as I’m not keen to drop anything out Morgo  Will make for a bloody big day though. See what happens when Mal comes up ;)
    Thanks for the ride mate
    Murph
