sunday rock session

Well its been a bit over a week since the ride but seeing as its too wet ive finally got around to throwing up some pics and videos of me and my mate having an arvo rock sesion

after getting our suspension done up we decided we should find some hairy rocky action to put them through their paces. my mates property in quirindi is nearly all rock … its heavan !

we found a nice little steep rocky gully .. thats when carnage unfolded

trying to get into the gully i underestimated how wide my handle bars are and clipped the top rock, which caused a sudden stop … even tho im all legs … i didnt have enough and went for a role down the gully .. i landed square on my back in the bottom and look up to find my bike saved by a tree … suprisingly it was easy to get up and over and we where on our way again

after getting up the first little section we came across this beauty of a climb!

after tackling this section we found off the the right a narly rock ledge … the picture dosnt show how steep it really is

after seeing this we thought about going up it .. then we chickened out … i decided to try another line up it but .. if it wasnt for the darn tree i would have got it in style !

if it wasnt for the washout at the bottom of the rock it would have been all sweet .. oh well i know next time haha

By the sounds of it I need to take on murphsburg, can’t be that hard haha

We have a few single tracks around his place its great riding !

Will have to get the camera out more often, and maybe organise a ride
